Dr. Jamie Charlie is a native of Louisiana,
where she lived until relocating to Colorado in the fall
of 2009. She graduated from Louisiana State University
in 2008 with a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine.
Following graduation, Dr. Charlie went on to do a
year long internship at Southeast Veterinary Specialists,
a referral hospital in New Orleans, Louisiana.
She now lives in Lakewood, CO with her husband, Justin,
who works as a chemical engineer with the USGS. They share
their home with 4 pets:  Mushy (a hound mix), Eli
(a black lab mix) and 2 cats named Lucky and Suvi.
Dr. Charlie enjoys reading novels, bicycling, hiking 
and camping.
